Causes of spring breakage in Gasoline Tricycle

The spring is one of the indispensable parts in mechanical equipment. Although it seems insignificant, it plays a huge role. The spring in a Gasoline Tricycle is also called a clutch spring. 1. The stress generated by exceeding the maximum compression amount will cause the spring to break.

2. The mandrel is too small or the spring is used horizontally, and the spring and mandrel are worn and broken.
3. The spring material is uneven or the impurity content exceeds the standard, causing stress concentration and fracture.
4. If the mandrel is too short and the end is not chamfered, it will cause friction and wear between the spring and the mandrel and break.

8. The use of springs in series makes them bend and exceed the length of the mandrel or countersunk hole, or the slight difference in the spring itself causes the one with the weaker load to bear a greater amount of compression and break.
