Check whether the Tricycle Motorcycle motor is burned out

1. Connect the thick wires in pairs in sequence, and the pot motor should feel like rice. With the three wires connected in parallel, turning the motor back and forth should have considerable resistance, an even number. It can be judged whether the phase wire of the motor is open circuit.

2. Use a multimeter to measure the three-phase resistance of A/B/C to see if they are equal. The greater the difference, the worse the motor performance. And the greater the power of the motor, the smaller the resistance value. If the resistance difference between the three phases is relatively large, for example, the difference is more than 15%, there must be something wrong with the motor coil 1 and needs to be rewound or replaced.
3. Check whether the Tricycle Motorcycle motor is burned out? Use a 500V megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance between the motor winding and the shell. The value should be no less than 0.5 megohmmeter.
4. Check whether the Hall of the Tricycle Motorcycle is normal: set the multimeter to 20V, connect the black probe to a thin black wire, and the red probe to three signal wires respectively, and slowly turn the motor. The reading of the multimeter should have an alternating voltage change of 0V-5V, otherwise the corresponding Hall will be damaged.
The voltage measurement method is more accurate. The specific operation process is as follows: lift the thigh of the car, empty the rear wheel, open the power lock, insert the negative probe of the multimeter into the motor Hall, and insert the positive probe into the motor Hall respectively. When measuring, slowly turn the motor by hand, and the Hall voltage will change. If the voltage is too low or unchanged, the corresponding Hall is broken.
Check whether the tricycle motor is burned out. Check the controller and rotary handle first, then the motor. Brushless motors generally won't break, while brushed motors will generally be worn away by the carbon brushes. If the controller and battery are OK, then consider checking the motor. You can disconnect the connection cable between the controller and the motor and turn the motor by hand to see if it is stuck. First determine whether the mechanical aspects of the bearing are normal. If available, find a multimeter or other tools to measure the electrical performance of the motor.
