There are three main types of Tricycle Motorcycle motors currently in use: brushed speed-regulating Hydraulic Dumping Tricycle motors, brushless low-speed Hydraulic Dumping Tricycle motors and brushed low-speed electric self-unloading motors. No matter what kind of motor it is, overload operation will shorten its service life.

The motor of the brushed high-speed Hydraulic Dumping Tricycle works under high current, and the wear of the brushes and reduction gears is accelerated. The brushed low-speed Hydraulic Dumping Tricycle motor has high iron loss under high current, and the DC power consumption increases. Long-term riding will cause the motor to heat up, demagnetize the magnetic steel, reduce efficiency and shorten service life. Therefore, the maintenance of brushed motors should focus on the brushes.
Although the brushless low-speed Hydraulic Dumping Tricycle motor has no brushes, it needs a Hall commutation device. In the state of overload, it is prone to the problem of poor commutation, forming a magnetic short circuit, thereby burning out the controller and Hall components, so the overload has a great impact on the brushless motor.
The motor is the power mechanism of the Hydraulic Dumping Tricycle, and its performance has a direct impact on the performance of the Hydraulic Dumping Tricycle. Care and maintenance are a must.
Detect the wear degree of electric bicycle brushes and commutators. Generally, the brush should be replaced when it is worn to a distance of 4-5mm from the lead wire, and it should be replaced when the surface depth of the commutator is greater than 0.5mm. For a motor in normal use, regardless of its degree of wear, the brushes and commutator should be replaced regularly (usually two years).
Whether it is a brushed Hydraulic Dumping Tricycle motor or a brushless Hydraulic Dumping Tricycle motor, too much input current will affect the performance. The voltage for the motor is supplied through the controller. Aging of the electronic components in the controller can lead to higher current input to the motor. Therefore, the controller must be checked and replaced if necessary.
Regularly lubricate the motor gears, bearings and deceleration parts of the Hydraulic Dumping Tricycle. If the inner and outer sleeves of the gears and bearings are too worn, the anti-vibration plate is deformed, and the spring performance is reduced or broken, the controller should be replaced.
Pay attention to frequently charge the battery of the Hydraulic Dumping Tricycle to keep the battery with sufficient voltage to prevent the motor from heating due to insufficient voltage and accelerate the aging of the Hydraulic Dumping Tricycle motor.
