1. Unable to shift into gear or difficult to shift gears
The main reasons are that the gap between the joint parts of the transmission handle and the tie rod and the specified position are too large or too small, the chamfered parts of the gear end face collide and the output rocker arm of the gearbox is loose. At this time, the gear shift lever should be reinstalled and adjusted, the gear end chamfer should be corrected, the key should be rekeyed and the gearbox output rocker should be adjusted.
2. Deflection when driving on a flat road
The left and right tire pressures are inconsistent, and the front tire is leaning to one side. The left and right tires should reach the specified air pressure, and the front tires should be adjusted.
3. Gearbox oil leakage
The oil seal and paper gasket of a Gasoline Tricycle are damaged or the bearing cover is not tightened, causing oil leakage in the gearbox. At this time, new oil seals, new paper pads and screws should be replaced.
4. Automatically jump gear after changing speed
The fork shaft groove is worn, the fork spring is weakened, the gear is not in place, and the gap in the connecting rod joint is large, causing automatic gear jumping after shifting. At this time, the positioning groove should be repaired, the fork spring should be replaced, the gear should be in place, and the connecting rod joint gap should be reduced.
5. The clutch is not completely separated
The free travel of the clutch pedal is too large. At this time, the control system lever should be adjusted. If the compression stroke of the separation lever is not enough, adjust the compression nut of the separation lever.
6. Clutch slipping
The clutch friction plate is stained with oil, the friction plate is excessively worn, the rivets are exposed, the clutch compression spring becomes weak, and the release lever and the release bearing are in contact with each other. The clutch should be disassembled, washed and dried with detergent or gasoline, the friction disc should be replaced, rivets should be installed, the tightening nut should be adjusted or the spring should be updated, and the friction disc gap should be adjusted to 0.3 to 0.5 mm.
