When the slope is long, the exhaust brake should be used as much as possible, the gear should be selected reasonably according to the slope, and the foot brake should be used to control the speed properly; only when the exhaust brake cannot meet the braking requirements, the foot brake should be used move. Continuous use of the foot brake system for a long time will cause the brake drum to heat up and reduce braking efficiency.
