Maintenance and care of Gasoline Tricycle

I. Maintenance and care of the motor

(1) The vehicle has been installed and debugged to an excellent state before being sold. Please do not disassemble or install electrical appliances and related parts at will during use. If you find abnormal conditions such as abnormal noises from the transmission parts or failure to work when powered on during riding, you should ask a repairman to repair it.

(2) The motor does not need to be adjusted or maintained during normal use. Only some surface dust removal and other cleaning work is required. Do not add lubricating oil to the transmission parts at will.

II. Maintenance and care of Gasoline Tricycle batteries

(1) When the red undervoltage indicator light on the dashboard lights up, it indicates that the power has entered the starvation zone and should be charged in time. Timely charging will extend the battery life. Fully charge the battery once a day, and each charging time should be 8-12 hours. Keeping the battery fully charged at all times is good for its life. If it is not charged in time after riding, it will affect the battery life. In severe cases, the battery will be scrapped.

(2) When starting an Electric Tricycle, it should accelerate slowly; on a steep slope or when driving against the wind, pedaling can be used to assist in avoiding high current discharge of the Gasoline Tricycle battery, thereby extending the life of the Gasoline Tricycle battery and motor. It can also avoid burning electrical components.

(3) When the Gasoline Tricycle battery is not used for a long time, it should be fully charged and stored, and it should be recharged for no less than 24 hours every three months.

(4) When charging the Gasoline Tricycle battery, it should be carried out in an environment with good air circulation. Avoid being close to a fire source, and remove the battery pack when charging to facilitate heat dissipation.

(5) The working environment temperature of the Gasoline Tricycle battery is 15℃-40℃. Outside this temperature range, it will affect the normal operation of the battery.

(6) The positive and negative terminals of the Gasoline Tricycle battery cannot be short-circuited to avoid danger.

(7) Only the special charger provided by the manufacturer can be used for charging.

(8) The Gasoline Tricycle battery is a special battery. Please do not use it as a power source other than an electric bicycle to avoid damage to the Gasoline Tricycle battery.

(9) Do not use organic solvents to clean the battery shell of a Gasoline Tricycle. In the event of an accidental fire, do not use carbon dioxide to extinguish the fire, but use fire extinguishers such as carbon tetrachloride.

(10) If the battery pack fails, please send it to the manufacturer's authorized place or relevant agency for proper disposal. Please do not discard it at will to avoid environmental pollution.

(11) When the ambient temperature is higher than 40℃ or lower than -10℃, the battery life will be shortened. Therefore, when the temperature is high in summer, the battery should be kept away from direct sunlight. When the temperature is low in winter, the battery should be stored indoors and charged indoors. After the battery is fully charged, the charging time should be extended for another 2 hours.

(12) When the ambient temperature is -10℃, the battery can only discharge 60% of its power. Therefore, the mileage of a full charge in winter is much less than that of a full charge in summer. In winter, it is better to use pedal power when driving by electric power.

(13) Batteries are consumables and their life is limited. The end of the battery life should be assessed when the mileage of a full charge can only reach half of the specified (25Km). That is, when the driving range after a full charge is less than 13 km, the battery life ends and a new battery should be replaced.

(14) In summer, it is strictly forbidden to expose electric vehicles to the sun for a long time.
